As our homes go through the freeze and thaw cycles, it is important that we take valuable and proactive steps to prevent issues. Due to the tilt of the Earth’s axis, the northern hemisphere begins to see the winter-scape come back to life with daffodils blooming, grass greening, and temperatures warming during late March into early April. As exciting as that can be, so many things need to be done to prepare for the warmer season, including spring cleaning, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors tested, and filters changed.
To prepare for warmer weather I make sure hoses and outdoor sprinkler systems are properly working. I want to be prepared for upcoming challenges the weather will bring.
I also set goals for this year’s budget needs and keep updated on the latest technology that makes my home and workplace run more efficiently.
