Vitalia Montrose, Business Office Director, Appreciates Community Employees

In today’s fast-paced world of healthcare, companies are increasingly realizing the importance of creating a positive workplace culture. Here at Vitalia Montrose, we understand employee recognition is essential to achieving this culture.

Employee recognition is just as it sounds: recognizing and thanking employees for their hard work and effort. At Vitalia Montrose, we like to show this appreciation in several ways. From social recognition, milestone awards, or our weekly creative follow-ups (CFUs), we are always taking a moment to celebrate our hard-working team members.

As the Business Office Director, part of my role is to promote employee appreciation. My two favorite CFUs this past year were for our Memory Care Support Partners and Townhall. For the Support Partners, memory care residents helped make a gift for the staff, which made that CFU extra special. I also enjoyed our Townhall CFUs, as they included all employees. We did a movie theatre theme with movie theatre snack boxes, popcorn, drinks, and candy. Townhall provides an excellent opportunity to make an enjoyable time for all staff to enjoy.

These are just a couple of examples of recognizing our many wonderful team members. We genuinely believe when done right, employee recognition creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work, which in turn makes us a great place to live.
